In this study of Greek geometry there were many more Greek mathematicians and geometers who contributed to the history of geometry but these names are the true giants the ones that developed. Im not sure I agree with the authors idea of using history to teach geometry but simply as a source book for the history of geometry this book cant be beat. A History of NonEuclidean Geometry. The following three chapters explain the revolution in geometry due to the progress made in the field of algebra by Descartes Euler and Gauss.
